Our story.
In Feb 2020, Jamie Lee changed the name of her 80 sq foot solo practice from “All Aglow Lashes & Esthetics” to “All Aglow Spa”.
“The only thing was… there was no spa yet, just the dream in my heart and a 5 year goal to get there. Just weeks later, life would change in ways I never expected.”
As a single mother and sole provider, having an income disappear was a terrifying moment. In act after act of kindness, my clients took care of me. Strangers paid my rent. As I awaited Congress passing the Pandemic Unemployment, my mind got creative and to pay rent I resold donated clothing online. News that I would receive a $16k disaster loan brought me to a crossroads: play it safe and stay in my little room…or get a little crazy. (A lot crazy). Gulp.
I kept coming back to the historic bones of 2nd and W Meeker, in the antique district where I had shopped with my grandmother as a child. When all I prayed for was a larger room for myself, I wound up signing a 5 year lease (she is nuts they said) on our current space. Then the work began. An estimated 70k worth of labor and materials needed to make my 16k shoestring budget. Letters and going door to door at raw material suppliers. Donations from friends in both labor and material. The space was in neglect and disrepair and quite dated, so I designed it with nuances of 1936 when it was built in Art Deco style.
I hope you enjoy a space that has so many miracles and love attached to it. The dream my heart dared to dream-to have a spa where my guests could spend a day with friends sipping champagne to toast in an engagement, or a couple could sneak out for a date night, had come to fruition. Having Fibromyalgia for over 26 years and being able to experience your Infrared booth was a tiny slice of Peace for my nerve endings and joints. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I want that Infrared booth next to my coffee maker! Lol Seriously, cannot wait for another 15 minutes in the booth and my next facial. The products I purchased are working out beautifully (just as you very patiently explained each product would work for me)and our Granddaughter Loves the Rose Geranium spray. If anyone is on the fence get off the fence and book an appointment. You will be beyond glad you did."

This spa is a cozy oasis in Kent and they knock it out of the park with the little details like water/tea, using locally sourced products from other small businesses, and making sure you are 100% comfortable. Personal story: Our owner Jamie- “I struggled with rosacea, perioral dermatitis, eczema, and sensitive skin my whole life. Dye-free detergent is a must. I cannot even use dryer sheets. Hormonal and stress triggered my skin to a painful, itchy, burning state. It was flaking, compromised, and any tool I had used in the past failed me. This took me to finding a line called Circadia which was the first product I had applied in a year that didn’t make my skin hurt. After an oxygen facial and their sensitive skin home care, my skin completely changed in weeks and has been healthy ever since.
